Viking Designer 2 Some people have written and asked me to make a video for the Designer 2. I re-read the whole book and looked at the video. I really think that Viking did a wonderful job with both. I tried lots of things and it seemed to operate just like the Designer 1. The problem that I saw in doing a video on this machine was that the "display screen" is an amber color and is much smaller than the one on the D1 and I just couldn't see the words or symbols as clearly as I would have liked to make a video. The "sewing advisor" works much the same as the D1 and the menus for "program, repeat, adjust, set and help" bring up the same information. "D cards" are inserted instead of the stitches being built in and of course, not all people will purchase the same "D cards." But, basically, everything else works pretty much like the Designer 1. So, I have decided that I will not be making a video on this machine because of the similarities with the Designer 1. |
