4X4 is 100 X 100mm.
Mid size hoop is 4 X 6 3/4 (100 X 170mm).
Big hoop is 6 X 9 (150 X 240)
Mega hoop is 6 X 13 3/4 (150 X 360mm)
Little tip. When you choose the hoop size under "preferences",
it brings up a list. The tops ones are called Universal. The pictures of the
hoops will show just hoops.
The bottom ones starting with 40 X 40 Spring are the Viking ones. When you
click on one of them, you will see the hoop connector that looks like your
hoop.
If you click on the 3D button on the toolbar, it will show the hoop design
area with a darker outline all the way around the actual design area for that
hoop size if it is in the 2D mode. The same button just toggles from 2D to
3D and the difference is obvious.
So, I like to customize on the 2D screen so I can clearly see that I am within
the borders of the design area.
In 3D mode, the design will look more realistic, but the perimeter of design
area will only show the corners of the design area.
