Candy Cane stitch combinations.

Open your program and choose the 100 x 170 mid size hoop or Endless Hoop.

Click on the "letter tab" and choose "machine" and then choose "L Decorative 1".

In the "letters" box, type B 14 times.

Size is 5 and gap is Minus 35. Click on Apply.

Click on the "design" page to set it as a design and then touch the "rotate 90" icon and "color sort" and change the color to blue.

Zoom in quite a bit and watch the center vertical mirror and make sure the point is right on the horizontal vertical line and the right outline box in right on the 3rd grid line from the center vertical line. When you get it perfect, the grid lines on each side looks like it is a white and black dashed line.

Copy and paste and horizontal mirror and place it on the right side of the first line. Zoom in so you can see that it is placed perfectly opposite the first one. Make sure the horizontal mirror is exactly on the horizontal line. When placed properly, the grid line between the two will turn white and black and the squares will be butted together and the right side outline box will be exactly on the grid line to the right and it will be white too.

Click on "combine" and "color sort" and then copy and paste and put those combined lines on the opposite side of the vertical center line exactly on the same lines on that side. Zoom in again to make accurate placements. Use the "nudge" (keyboard arrows) and look at the little blocks and on the opposite side to see where they are in relation to the grid lines.

Once perfect, "combine and color sort".

 Click on the "letters tab" and choose "machine" and choose "G Children 1"

The size will be 8 and the gap will be 0 . Type the letter "I" 4 times and click "apply".

Click on the "design page" to set it as a design and click on "rotate 90" and "color sort" and make the color RED. Zoom in quite a bit so you can place this perfectly on the center vertical line by watching the point of the vertical mirror and the horizontal mirror on the horizontal line. Use the "nudge" feature.

Click on "combine" and color sort.

Click on "endless icon" and notice choices I made for starting and ending marking stitches and no repeat.

Click on "preview" to see the choices and then click on OK. Save the design in the folder of your choice.
