SEMLPT error message

The program is looking for the SEMLPT1.SYS file for the reader/writer and the one in the Windows is only SEMLPT.SYS

The “1” is missing at the end.

Open the “explorer” and scroll down to “Windows” and then “System” and then “drivers”. Click on the file named “SEMLPT.SYS”.

Copy it and save it to your desktop or a folder where you can find it.

Then find that file you copied and right click on it to rename it as “SEMLPT1.SYS”.

Then put that new file into your C:\Windows\system32\drivers folder along with the original one.

After you've saved it in that directory, reboot your system and then you should be okay.
