Tips & Techniques

Printing a design in full size from 3D Organizer

First, you must make sure your screen is measured properly in 3D Configure. Measure in MM from one end of the bar to the other end and enter that figure. My one computer measures 27mm but the other has a bigger screen and it measures 32mm.

If you don’t understand those MM measurements, look at my tip #22 under “other tips”.

Open the 3D Organizer and click on “my computer” and then “C drive” and find the folder that holds the designs that you wish to use. If you have saved the design in vp3 format, it should show the color numbers and names on the printout.

Click on the design you wish to print out to highlight it and then click on “file, page setup”.

Notice the settings under layout, Hoop type, Hoop size and width and height. Click OK.

The reason I chose "user defined hoop" with O height and width is because every design no matter what hoop size will be printed in full size. You may have a category with several hoop sizes within the folder and if you chose the 100 X 100 Standard, then part of the larger designs would not print out properly.

Then click on “file, print preview” to see how the design will print out.

Click on “print” at the top left. Then click on “close” to close the screen.
