3D Desktop shortcuts

I like to have shortcuts on my desktop for 3D Embroidery, Disk Manager and Organizer. To do this:

Right click on start and click on explore to open the explorer.

Click on the 3D Embroidery folder. On the right side of the screen, you will see the files within that program.

RIGHT CLICK on the file called 3DDiskManager.exe. A pop up will appear. Click on send to and then click on desktop.

That Disk Manager execute file will now be on your desktop.

There are three different reader/writer exe files depending on what type of reader you have. Notice the 3Ddcardrw.exe is for the people with the QuiltDesigner2 or D2 or Platinum Plus.

The 3DReaderwriteNT.exe file is for people with the Rose, the Iris or the 1+ that have the older style of reader/writer.

The 3DReadWiteUSB.exe is for people that have the above machines but have the new USB reader/writer.

Just RIGHT CLICK on the file you want and choose send to and then desktop.

You can also choose the 3DConfigure.exe and the 3DEmbroidery.exe and the 3DOrganizer.exe if you want those execute files on your desktop.

If you don't see the "exe" extensions in your explorer, click on "tools, folder options, view". Look down the list for "hide extensions for known file types". Make sure that is unchecked.

Now, you should see the extensions.
