Pins

You can use any embroidery design that you think would be appropriate as a pin.

I hooped two layers of poly organza and stitched the embroidery designs directly on the organza. You don't need any other stabilizer.

I actually used my customizing and chose a bigger hoop so I could put as many designs as possible on the screen and combine them and stitch them out all in one hooping.

After stitching was done, I removed the hoop from the machine, leaving the fabric in the hoop and I used a stencil burner to cut out each design. Run the tip of the burner quickly around the edges of the design to burn away the excess and seal the edges. Don't hesitate or you will burn into the threads.

Then I iron "craft bond" to the back of the designs so it will give them more body and then apply a adhesive backed pin.
