Instructions for Towel Folding

Stitch the design above the border. Fold the towel horizontally just above the design in about a 6" fold so it forms a pocket above the design. Turn the towel over and fold in 3rds vertically so the design is centered. Hang the towel over the rack so the pockets are facing.

Fold the washcloth in 1" folds from one side to the other, then hold onto the folds and fold it in half bringing the ends of the washcloth together. Hold them securely and tuck the folded end into the pocket of the towels and fan out the folds at the top.

Sometimes, I stitch a decorative stitch around the whole outer edge of the washcloth to blend in with the color of the towel.
